DEPARTMENT OF EXPERIMENTAL ENTOMOLOGY
Functions and tasks: To study ecology, experimentally on mass-rearing insects providing a contribution to practical solutions to pest control and using of insect resources for socio- economic development and environmental protection.
Activities: Study on ecological factors in order to maximize production of insect rearing, and using they for control insect pests attacking cultivated crops, and for the experimental study of insects Undertook successful research on biology and ecology of Trichogramma spp. and using it to control some of important target pests in the field. Study the biology and ecology of the parasite and preductor species and their preys and hots,and use them to control pests in agriculture and forestry. Identifying some insect goups and restore ant collections in the laboratory, and to collected and preserved specimens of insects for research Studing and using of insect resources for socio- economic development and environmental protection. Carrying out several National and ministerial level and International Research Project.
